I’m at work, the calls aren’t pouring in. The creep of boredom looms. And to top it off, it’s all Halloween music all the time at work. Which means I get to do the Monster Mash and Thriller until my ears bleed.
I am going to make it. I’m doing great and I have nothing but good things headed my way. I have so much to look forward to. So much future ahead of me. I can only hope for dedication out of myself. I want to have the ongoing strength to endure. I believe I can do this, and I will. Stay classy blog.
The Monster Mash! That is what came to mind immediately! I love that song!
Oh I used to love it… but the Halloween playlist is woefully short… so I better get used to hearing about how “it was a graveyard smash” about every 2 hours, for the rest of the month. Sigh.
I understand the holiday music woes all too well! Thankfully I have the ability to tune things out usually.
Unfortunately, I can’t ignore the music. I just absorb it like a sponge. I seem to only be able to endure when I’m a) on a call or doing an order or b) humming some other piece of music is rather be hearing. I play “A Little Respect” by Erasure, “Walking On Broken Glass” by Annie Lennox or “Right Down The Line” by Gerry Rafferty and one of those 3 will drive off the Halloween music. For about 3 minutes. Sigh.
